This is a short commercial I edited for Blogomania conference. We were the sponsors of that event and what we needed was a commercial to be shown at the breaks between the lectures, as well as on the monitors in the hallways.
We were looking for someone to make us a short commercial but all we got was a couple of Twitted offers priced at over 1000 usd. That got me bull-headed, I stayed up late one night till 4 in the morning, and the problem was solved.
I had earlier experience in video editing but that had been long ago and on a PC. Now, I was using a Mac and had to learn it all from scratch. The commercial was made with Motion, the music was purchased via AudioJungle, and the video template through via VideoHive. The whole commercial including the time spent on selecting and learning was completed in 4 hours.
The total price included: $49.99 for the video editing program, $20 for the music track and $15 for the video template. A total of about $85.
And that’s a trick on how to save money. 🙂
BTW, more pictures from this conference can be seen here.
