There are many lies and distortions in the story of Diana Budisavljević. We are told, for instance, that no one knows where her card index is. There is no mention of her family connection to Jovanka Broz, née Budisavljević. Nor is there any mention of officials of the Independent State of Croatia (NDH) from the Budisavljević family who later joined the Partisans. Diana’s husband was a doctor with connections close to Poglavnik Ante Pavelić, while his brother Srđan was the king’s representative who handed power to Tito. Much remains little known.
